In fact, reading (kind of) Korean words and learning more about Korean culture was definitely the highlight of Wicked Fox for me. The Pros: I am a big fan of Kdramas, so when I found out that this was set in Seoul and focused on Korean mythology, I was so excited! And I did really enjoy hearing about Seoul, Korean culture, and the Korean myths. forcing Miyoung to choose between her immortal life and Jihoon’s. But when a young shaman tries to reunite Miyoung with her bead, the consequences are disastrous. With murderous forces lurking in the background, Miyoung and Jihoon develop a tenuous friendship that blossoms into something more. His grandmother used to tell him stories of the gumiho, of their power and the danger they pose to humans. Jihoon knows Miyoung is more than just a beautiful girl–he saw her nine tails the night she saved his life.
